RFP: Curated Rentals
Red Eye’s rental program allows the space to function as a resource to the Twin Cities performance community, to expand our community beyond our programming capacities, and to foster sustainability for the organization.
Curated rentals proposals are currently closed. Sign up for our email list to learn about future RFPs.

Works-in-Progress
Works-in-Progress is a development opportunity for artists wanting to explore new performance ideas within an artistic community. Red Eye provides artistic developmental support over a six-month period for a cohort of four selected artists/artistic collaborations. A hallmark of the program is a series of critical response feedback sessions facilitated by Red Eye Artistic Directors. Artists selected are supported with rehearsal space, providing the opportunity to explore and experiment with conceptual and staging ideas over an extended timeframe. The program culminates in a weekend of shared work presented to the public. Each artist in the cohort presents 10-15 minutes of work as part of a shared evening in the first weekend of the celebrated Red Eye New Works 4 Weeks Festival.
Applications will be accepted through November 11, 2022 for Red Eye’s 38th annual Works-in-Progress program.

Submissions
Red Eye is not accepting new play submissions at this time.
The Isolated Acts portion of the annual New Works 4 Weeks Festival is curated by Red Eye’s Artistic Directors. We do not take proposals for this program, but if you are an artist working in contemporary performance in the Twin Cities and you’d like to be on our radar, please send us an invitation to a performance at staff (at) redeyetheater.org. We can’t promise we’ll be able to attend every event, but we are glad to stay in the loop with new work. While live performances are postponed, you can also send documentation of past work, with brief description and your artist bio.
OMNIVERS
OMNIVERS is a flexible container in which Red Eye supports the process of BIPOC artists or collectives working in live performance, taking a shape determined by those artists or collectives.
